About the Trip
DAY 01: ARRIVE – COCHIN
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, you will be met by our company representative at the meet and greet and then transferred to the hotel. Evening free at own leisure stay overnight in Cochin.
DAY 02: COCHIN – MUNNAR
Today morning after breakfast you will proceed to Munnar. Kerala's most stunning hill station. Visit the Cheyyappara Waterfalls en route, covering a distance of 130 KMS / 4 hrs. On the way to Munnar, you may witness tea gardens that stretch for hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, and a region that is difficult to understand due to its low population and proximity to pollution, with Tata tea covering most of the land. Check in at the hotel as you arrive. Overnight stay at the hotel.
The Cheyyappara Waterfalls are prominently featured in Kerala Travel Packages. It's around 30 kilometers from Munnar, at the end of a pleasant drive. Tourists and travelers can see the waterway in all its glory during the monsoon season as it gushes over the sides of gigantic cliffs.
DAY 03: MUNNAR
Today you will explore the Mattupetty, Eco-Point, Tea Museum, and Pothamedu are also some of the best attractions to discover in Munnar in the morning and are widely known in all Kerala Travel Packages. You can also go boating on Lake Michigan (optional). Overnight at the hotel. Munnar, located in the region of Idukki and rising above 5000 meters above sea level, is veritable heaven on earth. At every turn in Munnar, you'll be greeted by wide expanses of tea plantations, vibrant fauna, and breathtaking scenery. You'll never run out of stuff to post on Instagram. Sites like Eravikulam National Park, Athukad, Tea Museum, and Nymakad Gap have become popular perfect weekend spots for Indian youngsters and members of adventure clubs.
DAY 04: MUNNAR – ALLEPPEY (BACKWATERS)
Today you will proceed to Alleppey the backwaters of Kerala washed by the silvery waves of the Arabian Sea, the Venice of the East welcomes you to the backwaters of Kerela. The Palm fringed canals and shores bustling with glimpses from the day-to-day life in the countryside the mirror-still lagoons, picture-book lakesides, and long sandy beaches have blessed, the waterlogged district to become one of the best backwaters tourism destinations in God’s Own Country.
The extensive network of canals provides Alleppey with its lifeline. Water carnivals using gigantic snake boats and country canoes of varying sizes have an important role in the community life of the people of the district. At noon you will arrive at Alleppey check in the Houseboat and stay overnight in the Houseboat at Alleppey.
DAY 05: ALLEPPEY – COCHIN (75 KM/2.5 HRS DRIVE)
Today morning after breakfast, you will proceed to back to Cochin upon arrival check in at the hotel, and afternoon you will have a half-day sightseeing tour of Cochin will visit the St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500-year-old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th-century Synagogue, Jew Town, and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India's most beautiful murals. Evening departure transfer to the Airport for onward journey. (NB - Jewish synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, etc are closed on all Fridays & Saturdays). Evening free at own leisure stay overnight in Cochin.
DAY 06: COCHIN – DEPARTURE
Today you will have a departure transfer from the hotel to the airport for a flight back to your onward destinations.
